I thought it would be a good time to update this Blog Post and summarize what makes September such a great time to get married at San Francisco city hall especially for photos<\/strong><\/a>. It is definitely a time of year in San Francisco that offers the best weather. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

September and also October in San Francisco\u00a0are some of the most beautiful times of the year.\u00a0 San Francisco residents tend to call the time period between early September and mid to late October “Indian Summer”.\u00a0 I will skip the technical explanation of why the fog is so thick during the summer and starts to gradually go away in September, but for those interested check out this link about San Francisco Weather<\/a>. Just briefly, it is mostly caused by hot inland temperatures and the Golden Gate. Hot air rises causing the fog to be sucked in through the Gate.\u00a0

The most important thing to know is that these months are some of the best times to explore the city and head to the beaches.\u00a0 \u00a0If you happen to be getting married at San Francisco City Hall or anywhere else in the city for that matter, you owe it to yourself to have your wedding photographer take some outside pictures of both of you in September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For those SF city hall couples who were worried about trying to visit the Golden Gate Bridge during the summer, fear not!\u00a0 By mid September, there will typically be very little fog along the coast and the bridge will be as bright and beautiful as ever!\u00a0 Fall winds will make the air super clear also, leading to some amazing wedding photo opportunities.\u00a0 While it is still possible to see Fog in the city in September, it is comparatively rare.\u00a0 It burns off much sooner as well, so early afternoon city hall weddings work out great.\u00a0 If you are getting married at San Francisco city hall in September, try to obtain a reservation time between noon and 2:00 pm.\u00a0 This will have us finishing up just in time to enjoy the beautiful weather outside and get some memorable pictures.
